Biography
Sir David Howard is a stockbroker and chairman of Charles
Stanley & Co, a major UK stockbroking company. He is a
churchwarden of St Michael's, Cornhill, was Master of the Gardeners
Company 1990-91, Master of Lime Street Ward Club (associated with
Cornhill) 1983-84, Sheriff 1997-98 and Lord Mayor of London
2000-01. His current chairmanships include the General Purposes
Committee of Aldermen, the Council of City University, the London
Gardens Society, the Securities and Investment Institute
Examination Board and the Europe Committee of the retail
stockbrokers' association APCIMS, and he is president of the City
Branch of the Chartered Management Institute.

Biography
Peter has had a long career in the recruitment industry in the
City of London specialising in insurance. Peter has worked in the
City since 1989 and co-founded Darwin Rhodes (Insurance and
Financial Recruitment) in December 1996. He is currently Chairman
and CEO of Darwin Rhodes Group with its HQ in Cornhill ward. Peter
was an elected Councillor of the London Borough of Waltham Forest
from 2002-2006, serving as Chairman of the Regeneration Committee.
He was also Director of Oregen, the east London-based educational
charity. Peter has a BA Honours degree in Politics from the
University of Liverpool.

Biography
Stephen Haines serves as a Governor of a local Southwark school.
As a non-stipendiary Clergyman in the Church of England, he is
attached to Southwark Cathedral as a Chaplain where he serves on
the Cathedral Finance Committee. He is a member of the Worshipful
Company of Pewterers. His interests include hill walking, gardening
and collecting antiques. Educated in Germany and at Cambridge
University, he spent his formative years in the United States in
Philadelphia.
